I need to send out an email, but I need to show a different email address in the from column – any ideas?

I am sending an email to some clients and I need to show my business email address instead of my home email. BECAUSE I don’t want to have to copy all of my contacts to another email contact list.

use Outlook and each time you want to change the sender’s name; click tools, email accounts , select the account you wish to deal with, open and change the Name.
Outlook is the easiest but you can change any of the web-based or mail clients pretty quickly.

you can create an alternate emai account, many isp’s offer that option automatically but if not, then you can create one.
Just go to and sign up for the free email address there. Use your other one for family and friends and you can use the yahoo one for business associates etc..
